Simon Gringut M.D.
Personal History
Dr. Simon Gringut was raised in New York. A product of its public education system, he graduated Magna Cum Laude from Hunter College. He subsequently went on to receive his medical degree from Stony Brook University in Long Island. Afterward, he completed his internal medicine training at Mount Sinai Beth Israel. He received his general cardiology training from St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center – Tufts University.
He completed a two-year fellowship in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at Yale with training in lead extraction under the guidance of Dr. Clancy.
Dr. Gringut joined Clearwater Cardiovascular Consultants in 2019. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. His interests include device implantation and management, including subcutaneous defibrillators, leadless pacemakers, lead extraction, and left atrial appendage closure. Additional interests include all manner of complex ablations, including atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia.
