Personal History
Dr. Kikta was born and raised in Ohio. He graduated cum laude from the Boston College honors program and received his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Dr. Kikta completed his internal medicine residency at The Ohio State University Medical Center and his cardiovascular medicine fellowship at the University Hospitals Case Medical Center. He received training in advanced coronary and peripheral intervention at the prestigious John Ochsner Heart and Vascular Institute in New Orleans, LA.
Dr. Kikta joined Clearwater Cardiovascular Consultants in 2016. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease and board-certified in Interventional Cardiology. Dr. Kikta holds a special interest in all manner of complex coronary and peripheral vascular intervention including high-risk coronary artery intervention; iliofemoral and subclavian artery intervention for limb claudication; tibial artery intervention for limb ischemia; carotid, renal, and mesenteric artery intervention; endovascular stent grafting for aortic aneurysm; venous stenting and catheter-directed thrombolysis for DVT/PE.
